Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Some of the links on this site are affiliate or referral links. If you book a tour or a place to stay through one of these links, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. This page explains exactly what that means and which links it applies to.
What this means for you
Booking through an affiliate link never costs you more than booking directly. The commission, when there is one, comes out of what the platform or operator would otherwise pay in marketing, not out of your pocket.
Not every link on this site is an affiliate link
Every one of the 13 tour operators featured on this site books directly through their own website with no commission to us. We link to each operator's site because it is the accurate, current source for booking, not because we earn from it. Where an affiliate or referral relationship does exist, for example through a platform like Viator, it is limited to specific listings we've noted, not a blanket claim across every operator on this site.
Marketplace and category links
Alongside the vetted operator list on each bay page, we link to GetYourGuide's and Viator's own search results for that bay. These are general marketplace links, not links to a specific operator we've researched, and we say so on the page. We also link to a Stay22 map for nearby places to stay. Both are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission. Neither affects which operators we recommend or how we describe them.
How this affects our recommendations
Our bay and operator information is based on independent research into pricing, tour types, safety, and trust signals like years in operation and certifications, not on which operators pay us a commission. An operator with no affiliate relationship gets the same honest treatment as one that does.
