Bioluminescent BaysPuerto Rico

About this site

We built the site we couldn't find: one place that covers all three of Puerto Rico's bioluminescent bays honestly, with real prices, real operators, and real photos.

Why this site exists

Before we built this, we looked for a single source that covered Mosquito Bay, Laguna Grande, and La Parguera together, with a real comparison and real operator details. We couldn't find one. What existed was scattered: a tourism-board article with no booking details, single-operator sites that only cover their own bay, and travel blogs that link out to whatever converts. So we built the resource we were looking for.

Our approach

We are based in Puerto Rico, and we treat this niche the way we would want a genuine local guide to treat it: state the moon phase matters more than the season, tell you plainly that swimming is only allowed at one of the three bays, and show you an honest phone photo next to a long-exposure shot so you know what you're actually paying for. Where we're not certain about something, like a specific claim about why swimming is restricted, we say so directly rather than presenting it as settled fact.

How we make money

Through affiliate and referral links on some tour bookings, and eventually through featured placements for tour operators. Neither changes what we tell you about a bay or an operator. See our affiliate disclosure for the specifics.

Keeping this current

Tour prices and operator details change. We date-stamp what we publish and revisit it periodically, but always confirm current pricing and availability directly with the operator before you book.
